Young people across North Warwickshire are being encouraged to take part in a new survey designed to help shape future opportunities and support services in the area.

The Financial Inclusion Team, North Warwickshire Borough Council (NWBC), and the Creating Opportunities Group are seeking input from young individuals regarding their experiences with financial education, careers advice, and outdoor activities within schools. The survey aims to identify what is currently effective, what is lacking, and what support would be most beneficial. Organisers are also interested in understanding young people's aspirations, dreams, and any potential barriers they face in achieving them.
The questionnaire, which takes only a few minutes to complete, is divided into two sections. The first part focuses on experiences with careers advice and financial education, while the second part addresses local activities. Responses from the initial section will be utilised by the Financial Inclusion Team, NWBC, and the Creating Opportunities Group in Mancetter to devise solutions that better assist young people in reaching their objectives. Feedback from the second section will inform the Atherstone Partnership's civic theme, 'Outdoors and Young People'.
Young people have the option to complete the survey anonymously. Those who provide their contact details will be kept informed about future activities and opportunities. Individuals under the age of 16 require permission from a parent or guardian and must include their contact information when completing the survey. Residents are also urged to share the survey with their networks to encourage broader participation.
Organisers emphasise that a greater number of young voices heard will lead to a better understanding of local needs and the creation of more meaningful future opportunities.
