Nominations are now open for the Hinckley & Bosworth Active Champions 2026 awards, recognising individuals, sports clubs, organisations, and schools for their efforts in promoting physical activity and wellbeing.

The Hinckley & Bosworth Local Sport and Health Alliance is calling for nominations to find its Active Champions for 2026. The annual awards aim to celebrate the hard work of those who encourage and facilitate sport and wellbeing across the borough.
The alliance is seeking nominations for mentors, leaders, volunteers, teams, and clubs that go 'above and beyond' in their efforts. This includes individuals who help others stay active, sports organisations supporting their local community, or individuals who have taken up new sports and encouraged their families to join.
Awards categories include the School Wellbeing Award, and community awards such as Coach of the Year, Sportsperson of the Year (including junior and disabled categories), Inclusivity Award, Sports Club of the Year, Volunteer of the Year (junior and adult), and Outstanding Contribution (Adult).
