Parents and carers in Worcestershire can now access quick and convenient support through Parentline, a new text messaging service launched by the Worcestershire 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service.

The service, delivered by Worcestershire's health visiting and school nursing teams, offers guidance on a wide range of topics including feeding, child development, toileting, sleep, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour. Families can contact Parentline by texting 07312 263547, Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm.
Laura Edmead, Team Lead and Open-Door Lead for Worcestershire's Health Visiting Service, highlighted the convenience of the new service. "We know that parents and carers are often juggling busy family lives and may not always have the time or opportunity to sit on a phone call. Parentline offers a simple, easy way to get advice and support directly from our teams via text," she said. "We would encourage families to save this number in their phone so support is always just a text away."
Alongside Parentline, families can continue to access support through the Health Visiting Telephone Advisory Service (TAS), available Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm, by calling 01905 520032 or via email.
The Worcestershire 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service provides a broad spectrum of support for children, young people, and families, encompassing health visiting, school nursing, infant feeding support, and Smoke Free Homes initiatives.
