Ollie Scott, studying for his BSc (Hons) in Sports Coaching, claimed victory in the PTS5 class by a 23-second lead after a strong bike and run performance. He is currently ranked number 10 in the World for his class and has achieved six podium finishes in his career.
Scott recently competed in the World Triathlon Para Series in Montreal, Canada, finishing in 4th place, and secured third place at the World Triathlon Para Cup in Besançon, France.
“"This triumph in Türkiye caps a great debut season for Ollie in Adult para-triathlon. He has had a fantastic year, competing in Spain, Germany, and Canada to name a few."
“"With selection for the LA 2028 Paralympics just around the corner, this puts Ollie in a strong position to make the team in two years’ time!"
Ollie Scott now aims to follow in the footsteps of Loughborough College Group alumni and medallists such as Will Ellard, Dave Ellis, and Sophie Hahn, who have represented the college at the Paralympic Games.
