The programme, a collaboration between Charnwood Borough Council, Loughborough University, Horizon360, and Community Enterprise Engine, is open to businesses in Charnwood seeking to advance their growth.
Cllr Jennifer Tillotson, the Council’s Lead Member for Housing, Economic Development, Regeneration and Town Centres, stated: "Supporting local businesses to thrive is a key priority for the Council and this programme will provide valuable opportunities for organisations across Charnwood to develop, innovate and grow. By bringing business leaders together to share experiences, learn from one another and access expert support, we can help create the conditions for sustainable economic growth. Charnwood is a borough with a strong tradition of innovation and enterprise, and we are pleased to be funding a programme that will help businesses build confidence, increase productivity and achieve their ambitions."
Central to the initiative is the Business Growth Boardroom, a series of sessions designed to offer business leaders dedicated time for strategic planning and peer discussion. These sessions will be held at The Careers & Enterprise Hub in Loughborough from 9am to 12:30pm on the following dates: Thursday 29 October 2026, Thursday 26 November 2026, Thursday 28 January 2027, and Thursday 25 February 2027.
The programme emphasises the value of human connection, encouraging leaders to share experiences, challenge their thinking, and gain new perspectives to foster business advancement. Businesses showing ambition and commitment may also qualify for further fully funded support, including diagnostics, one-to-one coaching, growth action planning, and specialised support for growth, innovation, and productivity.
