Twenty-one new council properties in South Kesteven are nearing completion, with final fit-out works underway ahead of handover early next year.

The development, located at Larch Close on the edge of the town’s Earlesfield area, comprises 13 single-bedroom apartments, six two-bedroom semi-detached houses, and two fully adapted bungalows. These properties are designated for individuals on the South Kesteven District Council housing register.
Environmental enhancements are integrated into the project, featuring wildflower and native tree planting, alongside new seating areas. These additions aim to support biodiversity and improve the quality of the local green space for the community.
Cabinet Member for Housing, Cllr Virginia Moran, expressed satisfaction with the progress. She stated, “It’s good to see work progressing on these properties, which will be allocated to people on the Council’s Housing Register. Construction is continuing at all the properties, with internal finishing works such as flooring, tiling, decoration and second-fix installations underway. They are undergoing plastering and internal boarding, while external works and the formation of the new site entrance continue on target.”
This development is part of South Kesteven District Council’s broader new-build programme. It aligns with the council's objective to provide high-quality, affordable homes and implement positive, long-term improvements within existing communities.
