The Remembrance Day Parade will assemble at the Ex Servicemen’s Club car park on Carrs Lane from 10:00 am. The parade is scheduled to commence around 10:20 am, proceeding through Warsop along the A60 to the Cenotaph for the Remembrance Service.
Members of the public are invited to walk behind the parade. To ensure safety, the A60 and surrounding roads will be closed from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sunday 8th November.
The parade will depart Carr Lane at approximately 10:20 am, arriving at the Cenotaph around 10:40 am. The Carrs car park will be closed from 9:00 am and will reopen once the A60 road closure is lifted.
The area directly in front of the Cenotaph will be reserved for the parade and wreath layers, with temporary fencing to manage the space. Paper copies of the order of service will be available at the Cenotaph, and QR codes will be displayed for online access.
Attendees who have difficulty standing are advised to bring their own chairs, with instructions from the event team to be followed regarding placement to maintain clear access. Hot drinks will be served by Coffee at Heathers in the Carrs car park.
