Ludlow Town Council is inviting residents to help expand this year's Remembrance Poppy Display, building on the success of the original Community Poppy Waterfall.

Following the success of Ludlow's Community Poppy Waterfall, a cascade of handcrafted poppies created by residents and local groups, the Ludlow Town Council is calling for community involvement to enhance the tribute for this year's Remembrance commemorations.
The original waterfall, described as a "striking Community Poppy Waterfall… crafted with care, symbolising remembrance and reflection from the Ludlow community", will be displayed again at The Georgian House, behind the Peace Memorial, from 2nd November.
This year, residents are invited to contribute crocheted or knitted poppies, measuring at least 5 inches. These will be added to the railings outside The Georgian House, complementing the main waterfall installation and creating a fuller, more immersive tribute that reflects the town’s ongoing commitment to remembrance.
Completed poppies should be dropped off at The Guildhall by Thursday 29th October. The Ludlow Town Council expressed its anticipation of building on this shared act of remembrance and welcoming contributions from across the community.
