Oakengates Town Council has announced details for this year's traditional Remembrance Sunday observance, scheduled for Sunday, 8 November 2026, inviting local organisations to participate.

The traditional observance of Remembrance will take place on Sunday, 8 November 2026. Regular, Ex-service, Reserve, and Pre-service units, along with representatives of local organisations, are invited to participate in a march through Oakengates.
The parade will step off at 10:35am from The Salvation Army Citadel and proceed to Hartshill Park for an outdoor service commencing at 10:55am.
To ensure the safety of the parade, the parade route will be closed to all traffic from 10:30am and is expected to reopen at approximately 10:45am. Disruption to traffic around the parade route is anticipated during these times.
