“"This scheme supports a significant development which will create jobs in the local area and provide a range of leisure facilities. It is close to a major junction and we understand the traffic management has caused disruption, but we’ve worked with the developer to ensure it has been carried out as quickly as possible. We’d again like to thank local residents and the wider travelling public during the works period. We now look forward to the scheme completion in the coming weeks."

Construction to improve access for a new commercial development next to the M6 in Stafford is entering its final stages, with overnight road surfacing planned.
Work on the junction and road widening, part of the Stafford Gate scheme at Creswell on the A5013 Creswell Grove, is nearing completion. Overnight road surfacing is scheduled from Monday 19 October to Friday 23 October, requiring full road closures between 10pm and 6am each night. Signed diversions will be in place.
All traffic management on this section is expected to be removed by the weekend of 31 October. The final elements of the scheme include the installation of a new pedestrian refuge east of Junction 14 and some resurfacing on the roundabout, which will be managed with temporary traffic signals.
The road scheme, funded entirely by developer Strawsons Property, began in May. A one-way order was implemented towards Stafford to ensure safe working conditions.
