National Highways has launched a public consultation on proposed improvements for the A5/M42 Junction 10, aiming to address congestion and enhance journey reliability.

The scheme aims to improve safety, support future growth, and enhance connections for local communities, businesses, and road users. Two options have been developed and are now open for public feedback.
A six-week consultation period will run from 2 November to 11 December 2026. Feedback submitted by 11:59pm on 11 December will help inform the ongoing development of the project.
Two public exhibition events are scheduled for attendees to view consultation materials and speak with the National Highways project team. These will take place at Dordon Village Hall on Saturday 21 November (10am to 4pm) and Tamworth Assembly Rooms on Thursday 26 November (2pm to 8pm).
Consultation materials are available online at https://nationalhighways.citizenspace.com/he/a5-m42-j10-consultation and in hard copy at several local deposit points, including Tamworth Information Centre, Glascote Library, Dordon Library, Polesworth Library and Information Centre, and Atherstone Library.
