Warwickshire Libraries has announced the winners of its 2026 Bookmark Competition, which saw over 1,000 creative entries from across the county submitted by residents of all ages.
The annual competition invited participants to design a bookmark inspired by reading, imagination, and creativity. Entries were received across four categories: 8 years and under, 9-17 years, Adults (18+), and Warwickshire County Council staff. Judges selected two winners from each category based on originality, creativity, and artistic talent.
Each winner received a prize bundle including National Book Tokens and library-themed items. The winning bookmarks have been professionally printed and are available for free at all Warwickshire County Council-managed libraries, while stocks last.
Residents are encouraged to visit their local library to collect a winning bookmark and discover the creativity of their fellow residents. Warwickshire's libraries aim to provide welcoming spaces for learning, connection, creation, and exploration, with initiatives like the Bookmark Competition helping to bring communities together and foster a lifelong love of reading.
