An information event held by the City Council aimed to introduce residents to the Coventry Families Portal, demonstrating how to log on and access a wide range of services for themselves and their children. The portal is designed to benefit the people of Coventry by providing comprehensive information.
The resource includes details on events and activities at the Best Start Family Hubs, support for school holidays, educational information, and advice on pregnancy. It also offers health advice, financial, family, and housing support, assistance for those experiencing domestic abuse, and more.
The relaunch event, which took place at the Salvation Army base in Upper Well Street, featured various activities for families and children, such as a digital treasure hunt, crafts, and games. Attendees had the opportunity to speak with staff from the Family Hubs and other professionals to identify suitable support.
