Residents will soon be able to access Redditch Borough Council’s Customer Services team once again at the Town Hall. The temporary Customer Services centre at George Walk will close on 9th October, with the service relocating back to the Town Hall, off Walter Stranz Square, from 12th October.
This move follows substantial investment in the building, which has been transformed as part of the town hall regeneration project. The programme has delivered modernised council offices and public-facing spaces, creating a more welcoming, accessible, and contemporary environment for residents and visitors.
Leader of the Council, Cllr Matt Dormer, expressed his delight, stating: “We’re delighted to welcome our Customer Services team back to Redditch Town Hall. The refurbished section of the building offers a modern, welcoming, and accessible environment that better reflects the needs of our residents. We’re grateful to residents for their patience during these important refurbishment works and look forward to welcoming them into the improved facilities.”
Visitors to the Town Hall from 12th October will experience enhanced facilities designed to improve the customer journey, consolidating council services within a modern, fit-for-purpose building.
