West Northamptonshire Council Seeks Input for New Older Persons' Network

Brackley Town Council

West Northamptonshire Council is inviting residents aged 50 and over to help shape a new community-led Older Persons’ Network, offering a platform to share experiences and views on local services.

The new network aims to bring people together to discuss important issues, share ideas, and contribute to positive change across West Northamptonshire. As part of the UK Network of Age-friendly Communities, WNC is dedicated to supporting residents in remaining active, connected, and independent for longer. The feedback gathered will be instrumental in informing an Age-friendly Community Action Plan.
This initiative is part of WNC’s broader strategy to establish community-led networks. These networks will connect residents, community groups, and organisations based on shared experiences, interests, and priorities, with participants shaping the focus of future activities, supported by the council and its partners.
Residents interested in participating can register their interest by completing WNC’s online Community Networks form. The form allows individuals to sign up as an individual, on behalf of an organisation or group, or both. It also asks about specific issues or interests participants would like to explore with others, which will help define the direction of future networks.
